Youth Outreach

Learning to be a servant minister and leader in your community is important to developing a solid faith. The youth group meets on Sunday nights from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. We share a meal together in the Common Room and meet in the Youth Room on the lower level where we worship, have fun, and plan and work on outreach projects.

Our youth group collects and distributes Thanksgiving baskets to families in need, Christmas gifts for New Hope kids, items for needy children at McClure Elementary and Blessing Bags to the homeless on the streets.

In addition, we prepare and serve an evening meal each month at the Day Center for the Homeless and help residents at Saint Simeons at their Harvest Moon Festival.

Our Youth Group is also active in our parish, volunteering their time to help at our annual Shrove Tuesday Holy House of Pancakes event and Children's Easter Egg Hunt.

And the highlight of the year for our youth is our mission trip. Recently we have traveled to Bailey, Colorado to reclaim and restore the land damaged or destroyed by fires and floods.
