Saint John’s Choir

Mixed choir offering traditional anthems, Anglican chant, mass settings, Evensong canticles, and an annual performance of Handel’s Messiah

An audition is required, contact Joseph Arndt.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Services: Sundays at 11:15 a.m., Choral Evensong normally on the last Sunday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

Annual Concert: Messiah in early December


Choristers

Choir of girls ages 7-18 and boys ages 7-voice change

Affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music

Open to all children both in and outside the parish

Honoraria offered to all singers

Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 5:10 p.m., followed by dinner

Services: Once Sunday a month at 11:15 a.m.


Saint John’s Singers

This choir leads the congregational singing at the Family Eucharist and offers occasional anthems

Open to all adults, especially people new to music and singing

Schola Cantorum

Choir of men, offers Gregorian Chant and Renaissance motets for Rite I High Mass

Audition required, contact Adam Pajan or Joseph Arndt

Rehearsals: Sundays at 4:30 p.m. (except for last Sunday of the month)

Services: Sundays at 5:30 p.m. (except for last Sunday of the month)

Handbell Choir

Three octave ensemble of ringers

Open to all, contact Carteena Robohm

Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Services: Once a month at 9 a.m.

Oklahoma Bach Choir

This choir is dedicated to performing the choral music of Johann Sebastian Bach with period instruments.

An audition is required. Perspective members should have advanced musicianship skills and experience with German diction.
