What to expect on Sunday

Sunday Worshipirv preaching

Saint John's is a church with a solid faith and sincere heart.  We hope you experience both when you visit us for the first time.  Our sanctuary offers a sacred space to pray and to experience Jesus Christ, who is made present to us in the Scripture proclaimed and the Communion meal shared. You'll hear a sermon reflecting on the Bible passages of the day, and applied to our individual and communal lives.  Everything you need will be in the bulletin provided or the blue Hymnal 1982, found in the pews.

Planning Your Visit

Parking and Entering

Two main parking lots are available - one on the south and one on the north end of the church. Visitor and handicap spots are available in the south lot. There are two entrances from the south lot into the back of the sanctuary, where ushers will greet you. From the north lot the best entrance is the big red doors halfway down the east end of the building.

For Evening Grace, the best place to park is the north lot, and the first set of red doors on the east side is the best entrance.

What to Wear

Our morning services are a little dressier. You'll see men in full suits , as well as slacks and polo shirts, while women wear dresses, suits, slacks and skirts.  Evening Grace is quite casual though, where jeans are the norm.

Childcare

The Nursery is available for kids under 5, Sundays 8:30am until 11:30am, and 5:15-6:30pm.  It is located on the lower level, which is easily accessed through the entrances on the east side of the campus.  You will receive a pager when you check in your child. You are welcome to keep your child with you in worship - crayons are available in the back of the church, as well as a cry room if needed.

Coffee and Refreshments

Fellowship is very important to us at Saint John's, and refreshments are available in the Common Room after services.  Please stay after the service so we can get to know each other!
