I first visited St. John's in 1994 with my future husband, Robert. We lived out of town but would attend when visiting family. In 2010 we moved to Tulsa and started coming regularly with our children and in 2011, I was confirmed.
We have been active as a family in several ministries within the church. I am a Children's Chapel leader and bookstore volunteer and my husband and I were members of the handbell choir until the birth of our third child.
My older children have been involved in children's programs in the church and my son and husband are active in Boy Scout Troop 153. I have volunteered through the church, including working with McClure Elementary students in the Reading Partners program. Through these activities I have become very passionate about St. John's and supporting its many ministries, especially those involving the children's and youth programs.
Aside from being a wife and mother of three, I am also a nurse practitioner. I work part-time in a local ENT practice and in urgent care and am full-time faculty in the Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Oklahoma.
